Our Mission

LIONS STARTED AS A GOALKEEPER ACADEMY. WE SPENT YEARS WATCHING GLOVES TEAR, PALMS WEAR THROUGH AND KEEPERS PAY TOO MUCH FOR TOO LITTLE. SO WE BUILT OUR OWN.

We craft considered essentials that embody the principles of thoughtful design, embracing the belief that our everyday garments should be as intentionally crafted as the spaces we inhabit.

EVERY DECISION GETS MADE BY PEOPLE WHO COACH KEEPERS EVERY WEEK. IF IT DOES NOT SURVIVE A SESSION ON A HARD PITCH IN JANUARY, IT DOES NOT SHIP.

GEAR IS TESTED BEFORE IT IS SOLD.

OUR KEEPERS WEAR EVERY SAMPLE FOR A FULL SEASON BLOCK.

A GLOVE IS A TOOL, NOT A LOGO.

GRIP, CUT AND DURABILITY COME BEFORE ANYTHING PRINTED ON IT.

YOUNG KEEPERS DESERVE REAL EQUIPMENT.

PRICED SO A 14 YEAR OLD CAN TRAIN IN THE SAME GLOVE AS A PRO.

our process

THE ACADEMY IS OUR TESTING GROUND. EVERY PRODUCT GOES FROM SKETCH TO SESSION AND BACK BEFORE IT REACHES A SHELF.

Design

We start from what breaks. Worn palms, split seams, straps that give up after a month. Each piece answers a problem we have seen on the pitch.

Materials

Latex is chosen for grip in wet and cold, not for how it looks in a photo. Backhands and closures are built to take repeated impact.

TESTING

Samples go to our keepers for a full block of sessions. If a pair does not last, it does not go into production.

THE COACHES

GOALKEEPER COACHES, FORMER KEEPERS AND THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THE ACADEMY. THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DESIGN THE GEAR ARE ON THE PITCH WITH IT EVERY WEEK.

The beginning

Lions started as a goalkeeper academy. One position, nothing else. A place built entirely around the player who trains alone and plays under the most pressure.
