Finding Your Glove Size Without Guessing

Sizing is the most common reason a glove feels wrong, and the easiest thing to get right.

Measure, do not guess

Measure across your palm at the widest point, just below the knuckles, without including the thumb. Take the measurement in centimetres and add one. That number is your glove size.

A keeper with a 20 cm palm wears a size 9.

Between sizes

Go up, not down. A glove that is slightly roomy loses a little feel. A glove that is too tight restricts how you close your hand and tears at the fingertips within weeks.

The exception is negative cut, which runs tighter than flat or roll finger. If you sit between sizes in a negative glove, the larger size is almost always right.

A glove that is too small does not just feel wrong. It fails early and takes your money with it.

Young keepers

Parents ask us this every week. The instinct is to buy two sizes up so the glove lasts the season. It does not work. An oversized glove moves on the hand, the fingertips take the impact instead of the palm, and the glove is finished before the growth spurt arrives.

One size up at most. Anything more and you are buying twice.

Still unsure

Send us your measurement and your age and we will tell you which size to take. If it arrives and the fit is wrong, you have 14 days to exchange it.
